Felabration is more than just a festival—it’s a global celebration of the life, music, and legacy of Nigeria’s Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. Held annually since 1998, this week-long festival attracts thousands of visitors worldwide to honor Fela’s profound impact on music, activism, and African culture.

The 2024 edition of the ECOWAS Food and Cultural Festival is set to immerse attendees in the vibrant cultures of West Africa. With music, dance, food, art, and cultural showcases from across the region, the festival is designed to celebrate both unity and diversity within ECOWAS.

Organized by the Centre for Creative Arts at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Poetry Africa has evolved into a major international platform celebrating poetry’s role in social change. The festival will feature 72 poets from 21 countries, including participants from Nigeria, Kenya, the United States, Palestine, the United Kingdom, and Zimbabwe.
