The First Ibom International Art and Book Festival is Here!
The Ibom International Art and Book Festival, an initiative of Inspire Community Network (ICON), a non-governmental organization presents an opportunity for African writers to showcase their works and meet new audiences.
The initiative was founded with the aim of spotlighting undiscovered art and artists as well as the celebrated ones.
The first edition, themed “Reclaim and Redefine: The Artist and the Art,” attempts to bridge the gap in the representation of artists and arts in books, and art festivals around the world. The three-day festival will run from the 28th July, through the 31st at Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort in Uyo, the capital city of Akwa Ibom State, South-Southern Nigeria.
