Tomilola Majekodunmi is a visionary entrepreneur, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bankly, a fintech platform that is driving financial inclusion in Africa.

With the aim of providing access to financial services for all, Bankly is making it possible for people to make payments, save, withdraw, and transfer money to other people, particularly in locations where physical banks are difficult to access.

By leveraging the power of fintech, Tomilola and her team at Bankly are helping to bridge the gap between the unbanked and the financial system, driving financial inclusion and improving the lives of millions of people in Africa.

Bankly’s platform is user-friendly, accessible, and secure. Users can open an account quickly and easily, using their mobile phones, and start accessing financial services immediately. The platform is built on modern, secure technology, ensuring that users’ transactions are safe and their personal data is protected.

Bankly also offers value-added services, such as bill payments, airtime purchases, and loan applications. These services make it easier for people to manage their finances and access the resources they need to improve their lives.

Tomilola completed a bachelor’s degree in Human Physiology from the University of Lagos, a Master of Business Administration in Finance, Investment Banking and Wealth Management from S P Jain School of Global Management, and other certifications in Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation from Lagos Business School and INSEAD.

Before Bankly, Tomilola served as Client Relationship Manager and Senior Investment Analyst at Meristem Wealth Management Limited, and  Head of Business at Aledin Nano Limited where she led development and implementation of business and operations strategies while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

Tomilila won the Tony Elumelu African Entrepreneurship grant and was selected by the Accenture team among the 1000 entrepreneurs whose ideas would transform Africa.

She volunteers at Utiva and the United Nations, Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) where she helps college students in Sub-Saharan Africa build skills and the right mindset for the future of work and business.
