Toyin Bakare
Toyin Bakare is a certified Fellow Chartered Accountant and seasoned entrepreneur who is widely known for making a difference, excellent leadership and community service. She is the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of SAS Textiles Limited, a second-generation family business that is Nigeria’s home of exquisite world-class fabrics and textiles.
Incorporated in 1995, SAS Textiles has evolved from being a one room store to a 5 chain store across Lagos and environs with a wide client base across the world with services in all kinds of African fabrics, French laces, Guinea Brocade, Swiss Voile and more.

As COO of SAS Textiles, Bakare is tasked with overseeing the day-to-day running of the trading concerns raised on the values of integrity and excellent customer service.
Bakare completed a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Yaba College of Technology. She is also an alumnus of several renowned business schools including Fate Foundation’s Emerging Entrepreneur’s Programme (EEP), LEAP Africa’s Business Leadership Program, Lagos Business School’s OMP, China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) Africa, and Harvard Business Leadership Program.
Bakare is passionate about empowering women to be all they are destined to be. She sits on the board of Genesis House, an arm of Freedom Foundation that shelters and rehabilitates disadvantaged women, and is an associate member of the Women in Management and Business (WIMBIZ).
Bakare was recognized as a Spotlight African woman making a difference for her excellence in leadership and community service by the Spotlight African Network at the Women Making A Difference Community Service Leadership Award 2020 in Lagos, Nigeria.
