Ukonwa Ojo Appointed New Chief Marketing Officer for Amazon’s Prime Video
Ukonwa Ojo, a seasoned c-suite international marketing executive has been named Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Amazon’s Prime Video and Amazon Studios. She is joining the ecommerce giant’s entertainment division from being the Chief Marketing Officer of the beauty giant, MAC Cosmetics.
The global marketing executive will be responsible for leading global brand and originals marketing.

Prior to this, the brilliant Ukonwa was most recently global chief marketing officer for MAC Cosmetics, where she oversaw the brand’s positioning in markets around the world. Before the MAC role, she was chief marketing officer of consumer beauty at Coty – a global beauty company, where she led brand development strategy, advertising, innovation, social/digital, and media planning. She also was senior Vice President at Coty’s CoverGirl, where she was the North America general manager of the makeup brand. She has also served as a member of the board of directors for Follain, a clean beauty brand and as a senior global director at Unilever, among others.
Ukonwa Ojo over the course of her career has been recognized for driving outstanding market leading results and delivering creative campaigns and innovations that motivate people to act. She has been named one of Business Insider’s Most Innovative CMOs, WWD Brand Builder of the Year, WFA Global Marketer of the Year List, Financial Times Upstanding 100, Black Enterprise 25 Women changing the world, among others.
