Yvonne Jegede’s “Marrying a Campbell” Gets Nine Awards at Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival

Congratulations are in order as the Nollywood industry receives accolades for a yet-to-be-released film, ”Marrying A Campbell.” At the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival in Canada, ”Marrying A Campbell” received nine out of 10 nominations at TNFF Awards.

Before this feat, one of the lead actresses in the film – Bridget John, won the Best Actress award at Pan African International Film Festival in Cannes, France.

  • Caeszero Oruade, the film’s producer, won the TINFF Jury Award for Best Movie Producer – Africa
  • Ayana Saunders won the Best Movie Director for Africa and Best Director awards.
  • Bridget John, the Best Actress – African Film award
  • Hakeem Kae-Kazim won the Best Actor and Best Actor – African Film awards
  • Best Comedy Drama – Nollywood
  • Best First Feature (Africa)
  • Best Comedy Feature.

The story was written by Yvonne Jegede and the script by Yvonne Jegede, Patrick Nnamani and, Jane Odogwu. It is produced by Twin Vision Films and Yvonne Jegede’s Me, Myself & I Productions Ltd.

”Marrying a Campbell” Is set to hit the big screen in 2022.
