Highly rated international talent show, The Voice Nigeria recently announced the commencement of the season three of the show. The singing competition will be fully produced in Nigeria and organizers have promised “it will be bigger, better and even more authentic than ever before.” Online auditions for the show started on the 25th of August, 2020. The Voice Nigeria discovers hidden and upcoming music talents. The platform develops contestants to become unique performing artists by providing them with mentors and giving them an opportunity to showcase themselves to the world.

This year’s selection of coaches includes award-winning artists with successful music careers across different genres. The Voice Season Three brings on board first-time coaches, Darey and Falz as well as return coaches, Waje and Yemi Alade. Each of these multi-talented artists will utilize their wealth of experience in the music industry to train and inspire contestants.

Speaking on the selection of coaches, executive producer, The Voice Season Three, Akin Salami stated, “we are excited about taking this journey with a versatile and dynamic team of coaches that will enrich the experience for both the talents and the audience.

In building on the legacy of The Voice to showcase the absolute best talents, we are confident that these industry veterans will attract the brightest of Nigerian talents to deliver a more vibrant and competitive contest than ever before. Needless to say, we are in for an exciting ride with maximum energy and a lot
of great vibes.”

Akin Salami also said, “Music is a universal language that reaches beyond geographical, age, cultural, social and even religious boundaries”

Speaking on the contributions expected of the coaches, Darey said, “I’m looking forward to impacting and guiding the super exceptional talents we will see on The Voice this year.

On the show, I will share, teach, coach, and also learn while we work together to build the next superstar to come out of Nigeria”

Falz, while expressing his intentions said, “As a first-time coach and a big fan of The Voice across the world, I am excited to be a coach on the show and I will immerse myself to get the best out of all the talents.”

Waje confidently stated, “The Voice is about the talents and the coaches. Some don’t have the experience but we will figure that out together. You can be rest assured that we will have a show like never before.”

Yemi Alade also said, “I am looking for passion, originality, and those who want to find themselves in the global music scene.”

The Voice Nigeria, known for its originality in talent discovery got First Bank of Nigeria, Premier Lotto, and Unity Limited as parts of the major sponsors for the 2020 show. The show will be hosted by Nancy

Isime, a multi-award-winning TV host and actress, and Toke Makinwa, popular radio personality and vlogger as co-host.
