Complete List of Winners for the NET Honours Class of 2021 Unveiled

The NET Honours People’s Choice Awards, one of the world’s most prestigious audience data-based awards have unveiled the complete list of winners during a live virtual event held on the 20th of June 2021.

Organized by Info Digital (ID Africa) Africa, NET Honours is an annual recognition of top performers in the entertainment industry and public sector based on audience data got from ID Africa’s media channels. NET recognizes these high flyers through a thorough analysis of outcomes such as audience search results, consumer interest, and social media interactions and trends. Data for the awards are based on audience engagement from a database of over eight million internet users reached across websites, social media and related channels of Netng, Neusroom, 234Star and Orin between June 2020 and May 2021.

Since 2013, NET Honours has served as a special recognition award presented to deserving individuals in the entertainment industry and in 2016, it evolved into the NET Honours People’s Choice Awards. In 2020, the awards became a viral sensation, reaching over 10 million people around the world.

The 2021 class featured 25 categories including Most Popular Male Musician, Most Searched Female Musician, Most Popular Event, Most Searched Actress, and Most Played Alternative Song amongst others.
