Congratulations to Super Eagles Team as they Qualify for the 2022 AFCON
Nigeria’s football team, Super Eagles have qualified for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.
After successfully defeating Benin Republic’s Squirrels, the final Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Lesotho’s Crocodiles held on 30th March at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, after about 10 years since the Super Eagles played in Lagos.
The much-anticipated match ended with a 3-0 win for Nigeria, against Lesotho.

Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen opened the scoring at the 23rd minute during the first half, while Oghenekaro Etebo and Paul Onuachu followed suit with the second and third goals respectively in the second half of the game, earning the three-time African champions an unbeaten record of six games to round off their Group L campaign in style.
The Nigeria VS Lesotho match was a thrilling watch, as the West African giants surpassed all doubts.
With this win, Nigeria now qualifies for the 2022 AFCON, alongside other teams like Egypt, Senegal, Algeria, Morocco, Gambia, Ghana, Sudan and others.
The 2022 AFCON will be hosted by Cameroon. Initially set to begin in June 30, the football competition will now hold from January 2022, down to February as a result of the global pandemic.
