Dr Anino Emuwa
Dr Anino Emuwa is an international management consultant with over 25 years of professional experience in Europe and Africa. She is the Founder and Managing Director of Avandis Consulting, a strategy and financial advisory firm based in France, with a subsidiary in Nigeria.
A former corporate banker with Citibank, Dr Anino Emuwa also has experience working with women leaders, designing and implementing large scale training, leadership programmes, and D&I initiatives for organisations.
Dr Anino is an international speaker on D&I, fintech, entrepreneurship and blockchain at corporate and global conferences. She has hosted in-person and virtual events convening world-class speakers and women leaders alongside World Economic Forum and UNGA. Anino’s recent speaking engagements include the Institute of Directors (2019), the Excellence in Leadership Conference (2019), and the Women’s Economic Empowerment Summit (2018). The speaker’s articles have been published in Forbes, Entrepreneur and Global Banking, and Finance Review.
Anino received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the London School of Economics. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the Cranfield School of Management and a Doctorate in Business Administration from the Nottingham Business School, where she is an alumni fellow. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute U.K.
Anino is an advocate for gender diversity in leadership and a member of the Institute of Directors’ Expert Advisory Group on Diversity and Inclusion. She has been a mentor for Cartier Women’s Initiative, Cambridge Judge Business School’s EnterpriseWOMEN and the Women’s Development Programme at the Nottingham Trent University. She is also a business mentor for women entrepreneurs at the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women.

In recognition of her impacts, Anino has received Global Award for Women in Tech by WomenTech Network 2020, Woman in Fintech Award by TechPark Davos, named as one of the top 125 Diversity and Including experts to follow on LinkedIn in 2020, and received an alumna award by Nottingham Business School, 2020.
Anino sits on the board of Nottingham Trent University, U.K. She is a Member of the Board of Advisors, iWarranty; and a Member of the Global Board of Advisors 20-First.
