World record holder, Oluwatobiloba Ayomide Amusan, globally known as Tobi Amusan is a Nigerian track and field athlete who specializes in the 100 meters hurdles and also competes as a sprinter.

Tobi Amusan recently made history at the 2022 World Athletics Championship held in Oregon, USA, where she won the women’s 100m hurdles, setting a new world record of 12.12 seconds in the semifinal, and 12.06 seconds in the finals. Tobi also set another Commonwealth Games record after she ran 12.30 seconds to defend her Commonwealth gold award.
