Emmanuella Makes International Film Debut in an Australian Action Film ‘Survive or Die.’
Award-winning Youtube comedienne Emmanuella Samuel, popularly known as Emmanuella recently made her international film debut in ‘Survive Or Die’, an Australian action movie. ‘Survive or Die’ follows the realities faced by immigrants around the world.
Shot in Australia in 2018, ‘Survive or Die’, was released for public viewing in 2020. The film tells the story of Shade, a 16-year-old immigrant, whose escape from war lands her in a remote part of Australia. On a quest to survive, Shade must reach civilization whilst fighting for her life in the harsh terrain, and from a hunter in a quest for revenge.
The 10-year old Emmanuella featured in the movie as a guest star alongside its major cast which includes Felino Dolloso, Craig Bourke and Hawa Barnes.
Emmanuella’s appearance has had a phenomenal impact on the film’s views as noted by the film director and producer, Daniel Okoduwa in an Instagram post stating

Since making her first debut on Mark Angel‘s YouTube channel with ‘this is not my real face oh’ skit at a tender age, Emmanuella has been a viral sensation across Africa. She recently won the Favorite African Social Media Star category at the 2021 Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Awards and has been featured on international media houses across the world.
