Esigie Aguele is an Enterprise Architect, Engineer and operations expert with significant expertise in leading public sector business transformation projects in the United States. He is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of VerifyMe Nigeria, a leading technology company offering e-KYC and real-time Identity verification, biometric validation and identity authentication checks to industries in Nigeria and across Africa. Through VerifyMe, Esigie Aguele is contributing to the growth of Nigeria’s banking and financial services industry.
VerifyMe Nigeria is a licensed government partner delivering Anti-Money Laundering and Central Bank of Nigeria Tier III compliant Know Your Customer (KYC) to lenders, insurance and financial services providers over API. In 2019, the company secured Series A funding from Consonance Investment Managers.

Esigie completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Howard University, Washington DC in 2001. He is an alumnus of the prestigious University of Lagos, Akoka and a Certified Enterprise Architect from the University of California.
Esigie’s career spans over 17 years of professional experience as an Information technology engineer in financial services, telecommunications and the public sector in the US. As CEO, VerifyMe Esigie is responsible for meeting the company’s vision, mission and developing a strategic solution for long-term growth. He is also concerned with overseeing and directing all line management functions.
Before VerifyMe Nigeria, Esigie worked as Program Portfolio Manager at B3 Group Inc., a company dedicated to providing outstanding IT services, solutions and support to customers in the public and private sectors. At the firm, he was responsible for establishing strategic partnerships and teaming agreements while directing strategic plans to meet and deliver on a company-wide strategic vision.
Esigie also worked as Programs Manager and Senior Manager, Operations at ManTech from September 2021 to March 2017, where he managed the portfolio and growth strategy of the company while leading special project initiatives for the company’s business unit.
Esigie sees VerifyMe as a way of driving economic growth by enabling businesses and government agencies to carry out millions of transactions based on ID verification and trust conferred on those they are dealing with.
With VerifyMe Nigeria, Esigie Aguele is building the Nigerian trust infrastructure by offering digital identity and verification services to a wide range of industries and the retail market.
