Ladipoe Bags 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards Nomination
Nominees for the 16th annual BET Hip Hop Awards have just been announced ahead of the ceremony slated for October 5, 2021, and Nigerian singer – Ladipoe has earned himself a nomination.
The Mavin artist was nominated for Best International Flow with six other international artists including Nasty C(South Africa), Xam (Brazil), Laylow(France), Gazo (France), Little Simz (UK), and Dave (UK).
“Our 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards’ nominees span generations and are a representation of the talented individuals who elevate hip hop culture in creative and diverse ways. International sensations – Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion led the nominations for this year’s BET Awards, with nine scores, while Drake scored eight nominations across seven categories, including Hip Hop Artist of the Year and Song of the Year.

Ladipoe, who signed a record deal with Mavin Records on February 28 2017, rose to prominence with the song “Feel Alright” where he got featured by SDC “Show Dem Camp”.
The singer also released a new single “Jaiye” in March 2019 before dropping the hit song, “Know You” featuring the “Duduke” singer, Simi.
Ladipoe is a member of the Nigerian supergroup Collectiv3. He is a recipient of the 2020 Headies Award for Best Collaboration – “You Know” featuring Simi and was nominated for the 2021 NET Honours for Most Played Hip Hop song.
