Morin Desalu is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner, Alternative Risk Transfer Solutions Specialist, Motivational Speaker, Pressure Group Activist and Mentor to young entrepreneurs and women in business. She is the Chief Executive Officer of Risk Watch Insurance Brokers Limited, an Insurance Broker and Risk Management Consultancy operated with highly skilled professional staff backed by up-to-date information technology to ensure efficiency. 

Incorporated in 1991, Risk Watch has continued to provide many benefits in insurance to its esteemed clients who are leaders in the business sectors in which they operate, and who require innovative solutions to their risk financing problems.

Morin uses her office as CEO to champion the success of various strategic alliances created by Risk Watch with several organizations for the company’s risk management solutions.

An avid reader and writer who also loves Calligraphy, Morin is an advocate for the survival of African mother tongues; especially the Yoruba language. 

Morin completed a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Sheffield City Polytechnic (now known as Sheffield Hallam University) and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Sheffield, England.

Before Risk Watch, Morin served  at Lloyd’s as an Aviation Placing Broker with Jardine Insurance Brokers International Limited in London. She is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, London and the Chairperson of Risk Finance Options Limited, a risk management consultancy practice. 

Morin is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School, a volunteer for the Mentorship Program of the Fate Foundation, a Trustee of The Samaritan’s Wallet, a member of the Board of EFINA (Enhancing Financial Innovation & Access), and a Founding Trustee of both the Adewunmi Desalu Parkinson’s Foundation, and Women in Management, Business & Public Service (WIMBIZ).

Morin is a keen golfer, a student of modern African dance, Nigerian languages and culture, and an advocate for gender equality and the advancement of women in their professions and public life.
