Agbokim Waterfalls is made up of seven streams with a cascade of fresh water plunging down the high cliff into the beautiful tropical rainforest. 1. Agbokim waterfalls was discovered by a hunter named Ntankum in the early 90s.
2. The source of the water is from the remains of plants. Following this, members of the Agbokim community have been working collectively to discourage deforestation and encourage afforestation to increase the volume of water.
3. The waterfall is made up of seven streams, which fall wildly over steep cliffs, providing seven-faced falls.
4. Agbokim waterfalls serve as a border between Cross River (Nigeria) and Cameroon.
5. The water from Agbokim can be boiled to form salt.
6. There is an occasional appearance of the rainbow across the waterfalls which is beautiful to see.
