HelpMum receives Funding from Global Youth Resiliency Fund

Around the world, young women and men are driving change in their communities and beyond. This has always been the case, but it’s been especially apparent during the COVID-19 crisis. Young people, and youth-led organizations, are on the front lines. They are identifying immediate challenges and needs, responding quickly, and laying the foundation on which the world will repair and rebuild post-pandemic.

Young people are leading the charge, but they can’t be expected to do it alone. That is why International Youth Foundation – IYF started the Global Youth Resiliency Fund (GYRF)—to support these amazing young entrepreneurs, community leaders, and changemakers who are taking on the COVID-19 crisis around the world.

With generous funding from the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation and Burberry, and the support of a number of committed individuals, the GYRF will put resources swiftly and securely in the hands of youth-led ventures—both social enterprises and nonprofits—delivering vital work in response to the pandemic.

GYRF is pleased to introduce 28 grantees, an amazing group from around the globe all working to create a better future for themselves, their communities, and the world. HelpMum, a health-technology startup is among the 28 social enterprises from 15 countries across the globe that would receive funding from GYRF.

Designed to put funds swiftly in the hands of young change-makers, the Global Youth Resiliency fund ( GYRF) is founded on the belief that young people can, will, and must play a vital role in responding to the Covid crisis and rebuilding their communities—and the world.

HelpMum would use part of this funding to create more digital Health Tutorial content for their Proprietary E-learning Platform for community health workers in another African language.

Congratulations HelpMum.
