Dr Sid’s debut film ”The Order Of Things” to feature Timini Egbuson, D’ija and others
Popular singer Sidney Esiri, professionally known as Dr Sid, has announced his intention to go into filmmaking with his debut film, ”The Order of Things.”
The project, which is co-executive produced by Sid’s Zero Gravity and Filmone Entertainment is currently in the postproduction stage, with a theatrical release scheduled for the 10th of June 2022.
The Order Of Things stars Timini Egbuson, Lilian Afegbai, Binta Ayo Mogaji, Tope Olowoniyan, Demola Adedoyin, Charles Inojie, Obi Maduegbuna, and D’ija.
The film is produced by Mimi Bartels, Esse Akwakwa, and Edith Nwekenta.
Dr Sid is well-known in the Nigerian music industry. The ‘Kabiyesi’ singer, who is also a qualified dentist, started his career in the entertainment industry in 1999. He is associated with the likes of JJC, Felix Duke, D’Prince, and D’Banj amongst others.

Dr Sid was signed into Don Jazzy’s Mo’Hits records (now Mavin Records) and featured in the Mo’Hits All-Stars collective album Curriculum Vitae (CV). He recorded his first album, Turning Point with Don Jazzy in 2010, featuring stars like Wande Coal, and Kenyan artist, STL. He was later signed to Mavin Records and released his Siduction album in 2013 with guest appearances such as Tiwa Savage, Ice Prince, Wizkid, Phyno and Alexandra Burke.
Dr Sid is the recipient of many awards including the SoundCity Music Video awards for Fresh Video and 2011 Headies’ Revelation Of The Year.
Now transitioning into filmmaking, Dr Sid is working on his new comedy film The Order of Things and we can’t wait to see it.
