Nigerian wrestling star, Oba Femi has added another milestone to his rapidly rising WWE career after defeating Jey Uso to win the 2026 King of the Ring tournament at WWE Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The victory not only earned Femi the prestigious King of the Ring crown, but also secured him a world championship match at SummerSlam, one of WWE’s biggest annual events.
The highly anticipated final opened the premium live event, with fans inside the Kingdom Arena creating a thunderous atmosphere for both competitors. While Jey Uso entered the match hoping to continue his remarkable run and bring another world title opportunity to The Bloodline, it was Femi who once again proved why many consider him one of WWE’s brightest young stars.
A Dominant Display From “The Ruler”
Despite Jey Uso throwing everything he had at the Nigerian powerhouse, Oba Femi refused to stay down.
Uso connected with several superkicks, a spear, multiple Uso Splashes and even attempted to wear his opponent down with a sleeper hold. For several minutes, it appeared the former world champion had found a way to neutralise Femi’s overwhelming power.
