Otto Orondaam an Edward Mason Fellow!
Otto Orondaam was recently selected as an Edward Mason Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where he will be focusing on Public Policy, Development Economics and International Development.
Made Kuti Joins Recording Academy Class of 2021
Afrobeat musician Made Kuti is now a Voting Member of the Recording Academy class of 2021. The singer grew up in The New Afrika Shrine in Lagos and studied at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London. He has played in Femi Kuti’s Positive Force band from a young age.

Latifat Tijani wins Nigeria’s First Gold Medal at Tokyo Paralympics
Latifat Tijani has won Nigeria’s first gold medal at the ongoing Tokyo Paralympic Games. She becomes the first athlete to pick Nigeria’s medal in Tokyo2020, after putting up an impressive performance in the women’s 45kg powerlifting on Thursday, August 26th. She defeated China’s Zhe Cui to lift 107kg.
We are Rooting for Ignatius Asabor
Ignatius Asabor, a Nigerian youth who makes special drones using locally sourced materials, gained immediate employment at a Finland-based organization, Radai Limited. He is a self-taught engineer who builds drones to serve agricultural use.
