“We were among fellow employable Nigerians who discovered that a lot of us were not prepared for the workplace and also do not have what we need to achieve our dreams,” says Kehinde Ayanleye who is our MCM for today. With over 7 years of design experience, Kehinde Ayanleye is the co-founder of Stutern,
an online platform that connects interns with prospective employers in fields where their skills will be relevant.

Kehinde holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication and Media Studies from Bowen University, a masters’ degree in Computer Animation from the University of Kent, and a Front-End Web Development certificate from General Assembly, London. Kehinde is also an alumnus of the MIT Sloan
School of Management’s Executive Education Program in Mastering Design Thinking.

Prior to the establishment of Stutern, Kehinde worked in television production, animation and design. However, the idea of Stutern was conceived when Kehinde Ayanleye and his twin brother Taiwo Ayanleye found it difficult to land their first job after graduating from the university. Therefore, upon research, they discovered that about 12,000,000 Africans face this problem every year. This prompted their decision to find a sustainable solution to the unemployment problem in Africa.

Thus, the ambitious and value-driven twins, Taiwo and Kehinde Ayanleye co-founded  Stutern in 2014.

Stutern is a skills development and job placement platform that connects the most ambitious university graduates with long-term employment. Stutern aims to close the gap between youth unemployment and entry-level jobs, especially in the technology industry.

The founding duo, Taiwo and Kehinde, joined the Co-Creation Hub’s Pre-incubation program in January 2015, receiving $5,000 in seed which was invested in the establishment and operations of Stutern.

In 2016, Kehinde co-founded the Underpin, a platform that provides a bridge to close the talent gap while investing in the smartest, most creative minds in animation and VFX. The platform successfully recruited the most creative and aspirational talents in Nigeria, with zero skills/experience in animation, 3D modeling or VFX and trained them to become professionals.

As of 2019, Kehinde was building a no-code cognitive platform to support some of the top 50 Global Pharma companies leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI).

As a focused and passionate entrepreneur driving social impact, Kehinde was a 2018 Obama Foundation Leader: Africa and Stripe Global Entrepreneurship Fellow. He is also a 2018 Acacia Global Entrepreneurship Fellow.

We celebrate Kehinde Ayanleye for his innovative contributions and we are so proud.
