Nigerian singer Burna Boy is set to add another milestone to his international career when he performs at Apple Music Hall in London on October 29, 2026. The performance will make him the first African artist announced for the new venue’s inaugural programme.
Apple Music Hall, located inside Battersea Power Station, is a new 600-capacity live music venue designed for intimate performances with the production capabilities of much larger concert spaces. Its opening programme will begin with Elton John on September 28, followed by performances from Baby Keem, Skye Newman, Troye Sivan, Arlo Parks, Burna Boy, Chase & Status and Charli XCX.
For Burna Boy, the October 29 show adds another significant London appearance to a career that has increasingly placed Nigerian music on some of the world’s biggest stages.

Burna Boy Joins Apple Music Hall’s Opening Programme
Burna Boy’s performance comes as part of Apple Music Hall’s first run of concerts, which will bring together artists from different parts of the global music scene. Elton John will open the venue on September 28, with Burna Boy scheduled for October 29 before Chase & Status and Charli XCX close out the currently announced programme in November and December.
The Nigerian star’s inclusion is significant because he is currently the only African artist named in the venue’s first announced lineup. His appearance also reflects the growing place of Afrobeats and African artists within major international music platforms.
The 600-capacity setting will give Burna Boy a different kind of stage from the large arenas and stadiums he has become accustomed to. Rather than performing for tens of thousands of people in one room, he will take his music to a much smaller audience while the show can reach listeners and viewers around the world.
Inside Apple’s New 600-Capacity Music Venue
Apple Music Hall has been built to combine the closeness of a small concert venue with technology usually associated with much larger productions. The venue features a 38-foot-wide reconfigurable stage and a 48-speaker Spatial Audio system designed to give audiences an immersive sound experience.
It also contains recording and mixing studios that allow performances to be captured as multitrack recordings and produced in Spatial Audio. Multicamera production facilities will also allow shows to be broadcast beyond the physical venue, giving artists an opportunity to connect with audiences who are not in London.
Apple describes the venue as a space where artists can perform intimate shows while still having access to high-end production infrastructure. That combination should make Burna Boy’s October performance particularly suited to the Apple Music format, where the experience can continue beyond the 600 people inside Battersea Power Station.

Another Chapter In Burna Boy’s Apple Music Journey
The October performance also continues Burna Boy’s relationship with Apple Music. The Nigerian singer was featured as an Apple Music Up Next artist in 2019, giving him an early connection with the platform as his international profile was expanding.
Four years later, he headlined an Apple Music Live performance at London Stadium. The 2023 concert featured songs from across his catalogue and was released as Apple Music Live: Burna Boy.
His return to an Apple Music stage in 2026 therefore comes with several years of history behind it. This time, however, he will be part of the launch period for a brand-new London venue and the first African act announced for its programme.
Burna Boy’s October 29 performance will give fans another opportunity to see the Grammy-winning Nigerian artist in a more intimate setting, while the Apple Music production will allow the performance to reach audiences far beyond the room.
