The Rhodes Scholarship is a UK-based scholarship that offers opportunities to international students from across the world to study at the prestigious Oxford University.
It offers a fully-funded scholarship (including airfare) and is known as the oldest (first awarded in 1902) scholarship program giving 100s of international Ph.D. and Master’s students support to attain their degrees. Its offer cuts across different courses.

Every year, the Rhodes Trust in partnership with the second-century founders such as John McCall Macbain, The Atlantic Philanthropies, and other generous benefactors gives full scholarship covering the following:
Full University and College Fees
Application Fee
Visa Processing Fees
Settling in Allowance (225)
Annual Stipends (up to 17,310)
Research grants for international conferences and additional Fieldwork
Economy class airfare to Oxford at the start of the program and a flight back to the student’s home country at the end of the program.
Eligibility Criteria
Academic Requirements
- Must be a citizen of an eligible country
- Must have an Undergraduate 16-year degree
- You must be proficient in English and have passed the English Language Proficiency requirement for IELTS/TOEFL of the University of Oxford.
